These Terms of Service govern your use of Lovio. Lovio is provided by FOURPLEX SIA ("we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account or using Lovio, you agree to these Terms.

Using Lovio

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your access details secure.

You must use Lovio lawfully and must not:

  • share content that you do not have the right to share;
  • harass, threaten or harm another person;
  • access another person's account without permission;
  • attempt to bypass security or access restrictions;
  • interfere with, disrupt or misuse Lovio or its systems;
  • use automated systems to access Lovio in an abusive or unauthorised manner; or
  • use Lovio for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.

You must be legally permitted to use Lovio and agree to these Terms. If applicable law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you must have that permission before using Lovio.

Partner features and shared content

Lovio allows you to connect your account with a partner and share information and content such as notes, answers, relationship details, drawings, photos, plans, quiz results, memories and other content.

Your linked partner may be able to view, download, edit or delete certain shared content using the controls available in Lovio.

Only share information and content that you are comfortable making available to your linked partner.

Either partner may end the connection. Unlinking accounts or deleting an account may remove shared content and relationship data for both partners. Shared content is not guaranteed to remain available after a connection ends.

You should save any content you want to keep before unlinking or deleting your account.

We cannot retrieve or erase copies that another person has already downloaded or independently saved.

Some media may be accessible through temporary links that remain usable for a period, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your content

You keep ownership of content that you submit to Lovio.

By submitting content, you give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display and share that content only as reasonably necessary to operate Lovio and provide its features, including making shared content available to your linked partner.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit and share your content.

You must not upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information and user content are handled.

Lovio content and intellectual property

Lovio, including its software, design, branding, graphics, text and other materials provided by us, is owned by or licensed to FOURPLEX SIA and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use Lovio for its intended purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer or commercially exploit Lovio except where permitted by law or with our permission.

Subscriptions

Some Lovio features require a paid subscription.

The price, billing period and any trial or introductory offer are displayed before you complete a purchase.

Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal deadline specified by the app store that processed the purchase.

If you accept a free trial or introductory offer, it may automatically convert to the paid subscription shown at purchase unless you cancel before the applicable deadline.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play are billed and managed by the relevant app store.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the store that billed you:

  • Apple App Store: Settings > your name > Subscriptions
  • Google Play: profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions

Deleting Lovio, deleting your Lovio account or unlinking your partner does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.

Cancellation deadlines, billing rules and refund procedures are determined by the applicable app store and applicable law.

Paid access normally continues until the end of the applicable billing period after cancellation, subject to the store's rules.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund, cancellation or consumer rights available to you under applicable law.

AI, search and date suggestions

Lovio may provide features that use artificial intelligence, search services or automated systems to generate suggestions or information.

Generated suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate or out of date.

Information relating to venues, events, availability, opening hours, prices, travel, locations or other third-party services may change without notice.

You are responsible for checking relevant information before relying on a suggestion or making plans.

Lovio's suggestions are provided for informational and entertainment purposes and should not be treated as professional advice.

Service availability

We aim to keep Lovio available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Lovio may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, updates, third-party services or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may add, modify, replace or discontinue features as Lovio develops.

Where a change materially negatively affects a paid service, we will provide any notice, remedies or other rights required by applicable law.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict access to features, remove content, suspend an account or terminate access to Lovio where we reasonably believe:

  • these Terms have been violated;
  • the account or service is being used unlawfully, fraudulently or abusively;
  • action is necessary to protect users, FOURPLEX SIA, Lovio or third parties;
  • action is necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service; or
  • we are required to do so by law.

Where appropriate and required by applicable law, we will provide notice of the action taken.

You may stop using Lovio at any time and may request deletion of your account through the available account controls.

Termination of your Lovio account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through an app store.

Third-party services

Lovio may integrate with or provide access to services operated by third parties, including app stores, authentication providers, search providers, AI providers and other external services.

Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services that operate independently from Lovio.

Liability

We provide Lovio with reasonable care and skill and do not exclude any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, FOURPLEX SIA is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses resulting from your use of Lovio.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by third-party services that we do not control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or limits mandatory rights available to you as a consumer.

Changes to Lovio and these Terms

We may update Lovio and these Terms from time to time, including because of changes to the service, technology, security requirements, business operations or applicable law.

When we update these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above.

If you continue using Lovio after updated Terms take effect, the updated Terms will apply to your continued use, except where applicable law requires a different form of acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the laws of the country where you normally live.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring a claim before a court or authority where you are entitled to do so under applicable law.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use Lovio.
